Pepper

Pepper is a black-and-white mare, born on 3 May 2022. She has a wide blaze, four white legs and a striking piebald pattern, so she stands out anywhere. At 1.45 m she is compactly built, a comfortable size for a lighter or smaller rider. She moves lightly and with a regular rhythm, with a well-set neck and a long frame.

She has been backed quietly and knows the basics. Under saddle she works in the outdoor arena in walk, trot and canter. In hand and on the grooming area she is sweet, though sensitive in both and quick to notice what is going on around her. She loads easily and stands well for the farrier.

We are selling her as a project horse, because that is what she is. Pepper is sensitive. When something gets too much for her she reacts sharply, and from experience we know she needs more time to be fully trained than most young horses. She is not suitable for a beginner, nor for a rider who feels unsure in the saddle. She needs someone experienced and patient, who can bring a young horse along calmly and give her confidence. Do that, and you get a very special horse in return.

She has a Dutch passport and her vaccinations are up to date. Her pedigree is not known. Viewings and test rides can be arranged by appointment. You are welcome to bring your own trainer, and a pre-purchase examination by your own vet is fine with us.
